The week gone by

It has been such an eventful week, the last one. People who gave their everything to their work for the past years have been asked to go. I have lost many a good friends in the blink of an eye. The experience has helped me grow tremendously. First time I saw job cuts happen so close to me.

This economy is killing us all. The human spirit is supposed to be indomitable, but are we strong enough to face this? Mentally it is very painful.

When will all this stop? Is this just a nightmare? Will I wake up? The week gone by has been one of the looooooooongest of my life....
